The Community’s Locations

Members of the community work and live in several locations in Germany and Switzerland. The duties and responsibilities are shared across locations through an overarching collegium.

Basel

The location Basel offers support for people in a crisis and the possibility to live with psychiatric assistance.

Constance (Konstanz) at the Lake Constance (Bodensee)

The community’s location in Constance offers the possibility for a period of orientation. The connection with the community allows for conversations and joint reflections. Also an internship in a company can provide additional possibilities for practical experiences.

St. Luc near Lake Geneva

St. Luc was for 28 years led by the Lebensgemeinschaft as a therapeutically specialised sector and a division of the institution “La Branche”, near Lausanne in Switzerland. Members of the Lebensgmeinschaft continue to work in St. Luc.

Freiheithof near Lake Constance in Southern Germany

Vaudésy

Vaudésy is a house in Dornach (Switzerland), Vaudesy, Dornach, Switzerlandwith room for elderly members of the community, for persons in need of medical care, and for students.

Freiburg (Southern Germany), Appartment St. Georg

„Assisted living“ in two appartments in Freiburg in Southern Germany. It provides a place for short orientation stays for the initiative „Development of Senior Living“. People may be interested because of their advanced age or because they want to get involved in a collaborative living and individual care of an elderly person. Also young people who seek a re-orientation on the basis of anthroposophy, can learn to find their individual development path. The cultural diversity of the area and the Waldorf schools nearby offer excellent possibilities for an individual and joint living.
